Photos of my maqeete with mock -ups of figures in various colours, firstly blue black and white, then more brighter colour scheme of orange, green, and ceramic, i preferred the second combination as they have more energy and movement , the light reflect and moves within these figures giving the effect i was looking for , the colours themselves have meaning in chakra's , orange being the 2nd chakra meaning the self and physical the green being of the heart and flow of energy giving and receiving , these were far more relevant to the piece, white being the higher self or light, the blue is communication but this shade of blue is not very active and black is not on the chakra chart as it has no light so is not represented i find it interesting that without having any motivation to choose first but to explore the colours which seem to work are the active and energetic colours having meaning as well as aesthetically pleasing. This has confirmed that my knowledge can help my choices and to listen to that and take this into account when looking at colour and sense within my work
